"In terms of IGR, Lagos alone will put then in pocket" Fani-Kayode mocks Mali, Niger forces

In a tweet that was made by Chief Femi Fani-Kayode, who happens to be the former Minister of Ation in Nigeria this morning, he has reacted to the viral video of Nigerien, Malian and Burkinabe soldiers, threatening the peace of Nigeria while marching and chanting.

While he was talking, he told the soldiers from these countries who were threatening the peace of Nigerians to know some things about Nigeria.

Fani-Kayode said that Nigeria is not seeking conflict or war with her neighbours and neither will Nigeria relish in violence or bloodshed, but if it is forced upon us, Nigeria as a country shall not shy away from it.

He said, “That is the Nigerian way. We never throw the first punch, but we always throw the last. Our traducers should also consider the following.”

Further talking, Fani-Kayode said that the size of our Gross Domestic Product (GDP) is more than that of the six countries that are being led by military leaders in Africa and in terms of IGR, Lagos State alone will pocket all of them.

He said, “The size of the economy and GDP of all the countries in Africa, ruled by military dictators put together, including Mali, Burkina Faso, Chad, Sudan, Guinea and Niger Republic, are nowhere near that of Lagos State alone.”

Further talking, he said, “Again in terms of the internally generated revenue, Lagos state alone can comfortably fit them in her pocket, ALL PUT TOGETHER without feeling it or batting an eyelid.”

The former Minister also said they have forgot that Lagos State is just one of thirty-six states we have in Nigeria, and that the population of our entire nation, which is close to 220 million, is almost double all these countries when they are put together.
