How To Recognize An Evangelist – Pastor Kumuyi Reveals

The General Superintendent of the Deeper Christian life Ministry, Pastor W.F. Kumuyi, has revealed how people can recognize an evangelist.

In a video on his verified Facebook page, the man of God said that evangelism must be in the minds of believers because Jesus commanded it. While revealing how to recognize an evangelist, Kumuyi said, “An evangelist goes and preaches, not trades, plays, gambles, or wastes his life and time; those are not the lifestyle of an evangelist. He goes to market places, schools, and colleges—everywhere people are gathered to preach.” He further said that through evangelism, false worshippers will be converted to Christ. He made reference to Acts 8:4, which says,

“Therefore, they that were scattered abroad went everywhere preaching the word.” He said, “You must leave your place of convenience and preach, just as Jesus went around, from here to there, to preach the gospel of the kingdom.”
