How can you call someone Ministers of Mines and Blue Economy and he does not control fishery?– Adewole Adebayo

The presidential candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) for the 2023 presidential election, Prince Adewole Adebayo has asked how people can be calling somebody the Minister of Mines and Blue Economy and he can not control fishery.

According to the report from Sun paper, Prince Adewole Adebayo asked this while reacting to the question asked about what would he say is the quality of the president of Nigeria, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s cabinet.

He said, “The definition of blue economy in the government is truncated because there is a Ministry of Agriculture which is controlling fishery, and fishery is almost one-third of the blue economy. How can you call somebody the Minister of Mines and Blue Economy and who does not control fishery? There are so many head-butting designations that show that they just sat down in one place and reeled out names. However, the designation of ministries and departments are executive prerogative of the president, so Tinubu can always correct the gaps”.
