He instead that individuals who carried out attacks on the convoy of a Nigerian senator many weeks ago have been Arrested and soon, they would be made to pay for what they have done.
Recall that on September 12, unidentified individuals suspected to be gunmen attacked the convoy of a Nigerian senator called Ifeanyi Ubah. The attack on his convoy led to the death of many of his aides.
After the said incident, rumors have it that Senator Ifeanyi Ubah was able to escape unhurt due to the type of vehicle he was riding in. Some Nigerian senators and politicians reacted to the incident barely 24 hours after it happened.
Amongst those who reacted to the deadly incident which happened in Anambra is the president of Nigeria and a few other individuals. In reaction the president, Buhari said ” We are closely monitoring the situation and waiting for further details on the response to the worrisome situation by the police, the military, and other security agencies. ”
