Group pledges to mobilise 16m votes for Tinubu/Shettima
A group, the 19 Northern States Movement for Kashim Shettima, has promised to mobilise 16 million votes for the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate and his running mate for the 2023 presidential election.
The group while inaugurating it’s coordinators for the 19 Northern states and Abuja, said the APC presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and his running mate, Senator Kashim Shettima are people who have proven their mettle in governance and administration having shown what they can do in Lagos and Borno states respectively, and if given the chance to govern Nigeria they would do even better.>>>>>CONTINUE READING HERE>>>>>
The Director General of 19 Northern States Movement for Kashim Shettima, Alhaji Abubakar Aliyu Takai, told a mammoth crowd that gathered at the inauguration, which held at Crystal Garden Hotel Kaduna that they are going to campaign door to door and mobilise wide and near within the 19 Northern states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja to mobilise enough votes for the APC presidential candidate to win the election.
“We are going to give Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Sen. Kashim Shettima 16 million votes because of our love and trust in our leader, Senator Kashim Shettima. After this event, we are going to continue in Kano and Jigawa states to mobilise and entrench our reach further. Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu can remain on the South and Abuja and be rest assured that Sen. Kashim Shettima will deliver the North to him.
“Asiwaju couldn’t have make a better choice than Kashim Shettima for vice presidential candidate due to his track record. We are aware that Asiwaju choose Kashim Shettima because of the trust he has in his abilities. We are going to work across the 19 Northern states plus the FCT and deliver all to Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu/Kashim Shettima come 2023.
“We have our zonal and state coordinators and they are all working hard not only to win their states for Tinubu and Shettima but to garner the required votes to complete that 16 million votes.
“Tinubu and Shettima are the best candidates because of their track record in Lagos and Borno states, with what they have done in the states they governed, they would take Nigeria to the promised land if they win and we would make sure they win insha Allah,” he said.
Also speaking, the Director General, National Coordinator, Bola Ahmed Tinubu Presidential Actualisation Movement (BATPAM), Comrade AbdulHakeem Ajeseku, said, “this is a movement that is laudable and we would do everything possible to engage in door to door campaign to actualise the aspiration of Tinubu and Shettima”.
