Gov Radda authorises medical bill payment for injured victims in Katsina

The governor of Katsina State, Dikko Umaru Radda, has acted quickly to provide assistance to individuals affected by the recent terrorist attack in reaction to the recent wave of insecurity afflicting the state.

The provision of prompt assistance to people who suffered gunshot wounds during the attacks is a major emphasis of Governor Radda’s efforts.

One of them, Malam Aliyu Kabiru of Salihawa Fulani Village in the Matazu Local Government region, was shot by the attackers and sustained a severe spinal cord injury.

Governor Radda gave the order to pay his medical expenses in order to guarantee that Malam Aliyu’s urgent implant surgery was done in response to the urgent need for medical attention.

In addition to offering his assistance, the governor also paid for the operation’s related medical costs.

This information was released by the Katsina State Governor’s chief press secretary, Ibrahim Kaula Mohammed, on Wednesday. He stated that his principal’s efforts “are not only aimed at healing wounds but also at sending a clear message of solidarity and support to the people of Katsina State.

Along with helping the civilians, Governor Radda also offered assistance to the gallant military who were hurt while responding to the sad circumstances. The General Amadi Rimi Specialists Hospital in Katsina is currently caring for these injured soldiers, according to Kaula.

A soldier, L/Cpl Mohammed Tijani, regrettably died while performing his duties during the commotion that followed along the Jibia-Batsari route after Gurbin Magarya Junction, according to Kaula’s statement.

The Chief of Army Staff, Lt Gen Taoreed Lagbaja, and the mourning family of L/Cpl Mohammed Tijani received Governor Radda’s sincere condolences.

The governor sincerely prayed for the deceased’s eternal rest and the grieving family’s resilience to cope with this terrible loss.
