Former Nigerian President Goodluck Jonathan met with the influential political figure and former Lagos State Governor, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, at the Presidential Villa. The former president of the federation, Ebele Goodluck Jonathan, made it known that the visit was to discuss issues pertaining to Africa and the West Africa subregion.
“I came to brief the president about some continental and subcontinental bodies,” he said. ” I am the ECOWAS mediator for Mali and also the chairman of the West African Elders Forum. So there are certain issues bordering on the continent and the subregion that I discuss with various presidents,” Jonathan said while speaking to newsmen.
