The Gombe State University (GSU), Kashere, Gombe State has banned final year students from any form of celebration.
A statement made available via a circular by the Dean of the Students Affairs Division announced that any form of celebration of the graduating class has been prohibited from henceforth on the university campus.
The signing-out activity that involves writing using a pen to write on their clothes has also been banned.
Cultural day celebration during the departmental week and other activities that involve much noise, indecent behavior, and crowd gathering that are not in line with the University management.
Students of GSU are advised to strictly abide by the directives of the school management. Anyone found wanting will face the consequences of his or her activity.

The schools saw that students used the avenue to carry out indecent acts and to break down the rules and regulations of the institutions.
