Wike: Obasanjo made Bola Ige minister for Justice, Bola Ige never left AD for PDP- Chuks Ohuegbe

Chuks Ohuegbe, Director of Publication, Pilot newspaper, said that former President Olusegun Obasanjo made the late Chief Bola Ige the minister of justice and Bola Ige never left AD for PDP but remained in AD party.

Chuks Ohuegbe said this in an interview with AIT during the Kakaaki program, when he was asked to react to Nyesom Wike’s statement that he is still in PDP but on a national assignment, and he owns nobody an apology for supporting Tinubu.

Chuks Ohuegbe said that Wike only spoke his mind, and that Wike has been saying the same things in the past 12 to 15 months. He said personally, he has been saying on air that PDP leaders got it wrong on the issue of Wike. He said reason is that constitution is a binding rule, and PDP constitution says power should rotate from north to the south. He said that has been Wike’s argument that it is turn of the south. However, He said Wike made it clear that he is still in PDP but he only answered Tinubu who called him to work for him.

“This is not the first time this has happened, Don’t forget, in 1999, when Obasanjo was the President, AD was the opposition party but Obasanjo made Chief Bola Ige minister of Justice & Bola Ige never left AD for PDP.
