Reactions As INEC Fails To Produce Witness At Tribunal Claiming Their Witness Disappointed Them

Many Nigerians have reacted recently as they made their feelings and opinions known concerning a post made by the Channels Television on their official Facebook Page which says the Independent and National Electoral Commission (INEC), failed to open defense over their witness’s absence at the Tribunal today being the 3rd day of July 2023.

INEC, the first respondent in the petition filed by the Peoples Democratic Party and Labour Party’s Presidential candidates, was to open its defense today but failed to do so due to the absence of a witness. Counsel to INEC, Abubakar Mahmoud revealed that the witness was absent due to some domestic issues.

Many persons who saw the post reacted vigorously as they were amazed and astounded by the occurrence.

“They claimed Their witness disappointed them… For over a week? This one is no longer technical glitch but human glitch. Glitch or No glitch…. Our mandate must be recovered!!!!” One Nigerian reacted as he expressed disappointment.
