"We found out that Kwankwaso received about 3.96 Million Votes in the North West." – Buba Galadima

Buba Galadima, a prominent figure within the NNPP, has made allegations regarding the last Presidential election. According to Galadima, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, the NNPP’s Presidential candidate, is said to have garnered around 3.96 million votes in the North West region during the election. He expressed this during an interview with Channels TV news. Buba Galadima went on to claim that the NNPP suffered from unfair practices in the court proceedings involving the Bauchi election. As a result, he explained that the party has opted not to pursue legal action during the general election for specific reasons.

Buba Galadima elaborated, stating, “Upon analyzing the election results, and despite not taking legal action, we found that Kwankwao secured an approximate 3.96 million votes solely in the North West, a significant number that remains unaccounted for. In the Bauchi case, our presence in court was overshadowed by collusion between the two major parties, resulting in our disadvantage.” He further mentioned that allegations arose between these parties concerning improprieties in six to seven local governments. Subsequent investigations confirmed that the NNPP had an excess of 160,000 votes during the recount, a substantial discrepancy from the 90,000 initially attributed to them.
