Fans Have Every Right To Be Outraged Following Man United’s Reaction To De Gea’s Wedding Photos

Amidst the great uncertainty over his future at Manchester United, Spanish goalkeeper, secured his future with his long term partner, Edurne as the couple shared tied the knot in Spain.

Sharing the beautiful photos of the wedding on social media, fans were very happy for him and were completely outraged after Manchester club reacted to the photos.

De Gea, now a free agent after his £375,000-a-week deal expired on Friday has been a victim of unprofessional and disrespectful treatment by the club he diligently served for over a decade.

Manchester United made him unemployed on his wedding day but were among the first to congratulate him.

As if backing out of the contract they offered de Gea wasn’t enough, he has been sensationally asked not to join another club yet.

After De Gea shared the snaps of him and his new wife on Instagram and captioned them with: “We couldn’t be happier!”, the well-wishes flooded in, with United’s official Insta account commenting alongside a love heart emoji: “Felicidades, David.”

However, fans were not having any of that as they slammed the club and claimed they “had no shame” amid the contract situation.

In my opinion, the fans have every right to do that. Manchester United have not treated their number one fairly. They seem to be taking advantage of his loyalty to the club.

Because what is the logic behind offering him a contract extension with reduced wages and then after he accepted it, signed the documents, they withdrew the contract and are trying to reduce the wages again.

Now they have made de Gea a free agent and have asked him not to join another club. This is simply unprofessional and shows their lack of regard to the goalkeeper. They have no right to comment on his wedding photos on the day they made him unemployed.
