Fani Kayode Shares Ursula Leyen’s Picture On Twitter, Says They Learnt To Rig Election From EU
On Tuesday, Femi Fani Kayode, the former minister of ation in Nigeria, expressed his thoughts on the recent European Union assessment on the conduct of the elections in that country.
Remember that the European Union Electoral Observer Mission portrayed the February 2023 presidential elections as the result of a poorly done desk job that relied mainly on a small number of people. This report has caused a lot of excitement in Nigeria’s political landscape in recent days.
Fani Kayode, who is also the director of new media for the Tinubu-Shettima presidential campaign council, responded to the article by calling it “trash,” saying it was improper for the EU to get involved in the situation given all the horrors its member states had perpetrated against African nations. They acquired such callousness and roguish traits from them, he said.

After posting a picture of Ursula von der Leyen, the 13th president of the European Commission, he wrote the following:
“The EU and its member states should tender an unreserved apology for the unspeakable atrocities that they committed against the people of Africa over the last 200 years,” writes the author of the report. “Before they assail and afflict us with their self-serving, self-seeking, hypocritical, nauseating, infantile, irritating and inconsequential “election monitors report.”
“When a European accuses us Africans of being cruel and barbaric, of committing all kinds of mindless atrocities against one another, and of being a group of dishonest and fraudulent election-riggers, they forget to mention the fact that, if true, we must have learned such callousness, wickedness, barbarity, and roguish traits from them. That is supported by history.
