“Fake News! I Have No Plans To Endorse Peter Obi”
Professor Aniebet Inyang Ntui, the University Librarian of the University of Calabar, has denied media reports that she is planning to endorse Mr Peter Gregory Obi, the Presidential Candidate of the Labour Party.
In a statement released on Thursday in Calabar, the Professor said that she is committed to her duties in the University, with no plans of engaging in any form of endorsement of any presidential candidate. “My attention has been drawn to an article claiming that I am planning to endorse a certain political party and its presidential candidate ahead of the 2023 general elections.”
“I am fully committed to my position at the University of Calabar and I am not in any way interested in any divisive issues or any political appointments. I have no plans to endorse any candidate for the elections,” she said.
Professor Aniebiet Inyang Ntui is the Most Read Researcher in Nigeria and was recently nominated for a Nobel Citation Laureates Prize.
