We are facing challenges in the court, but I think this is most credible election in Nigeria- Tinubu

In a news article published by Thisday paper today, it was reported that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu expressed a strong belief that the election that led to his presidency was the most credible in the history of Nigeria’s politics.

He made this assertion during a meeting with members of his ruling party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), in Abuja. The purpose of the meeting was to officially confirm former Kano State Governor, Alhaji Umar Abdullahi Ganduje, as the National Chairman of the APC.

President Tinubu addressed the APC’s National Executive Committee (NEC) during the meeting, emphasizing the need for the APC and the government to address the aspirations of the people.

While speaking, President Tinubu stated, “Yes, we are encountering challenges in the legal realm, but I firmly believe that this election stands as the most credible in Nigeria. Therefore, it is incumbent upon us to acknowledge our accomplishments. As a proponent of democracy, it is important to note that those who are unwilling to accept the outcomes of a transparent and equitable election do not merit the satisfaction of triumph.”
