The multibillionaire businessman declared that these reforms were just the beginning. “In the long run, I can see the Cowboys moving to Boston or New York. According to Todd Boehly, the new Chelsea owners want the first team and academy to function as a “well-oiled machine.” This is a significant improvement they intend to bring to the club.

The 48-year-old chairman and co-owner of the Blues, Boehly, made some surprising remarks on Tuesday at the SALTConference.

The American businessman specifically mentioned that Thomas Tuchel, who was fired as Chelsea’s manager last week, didn’t entirely agree with the new ownership’s philosophies.

The London club quickly hired a replacement for Tuchel, with Graham Potter departing Brighton to take over as the new head coach.
