I was security guard; good education made me President — Tinubu woos Nigerians in India

As you may already know, President Bola Tinubu, the president of Nigeria, is attending the G20 Summit in India. While there, he met with the Nigerians living in India, and also addressed the Nigerian students in India.

As reported by The Cable, he narrated his rise to the top. He shared how he had to work as a security guard, and also tutored his fellow students in school, while he was a student.

According to him, good education brought him from his lowly beginnings to where he is today as the president of Nigeria.

“I was a security guard. I was a tutor in school. I was a brilliant student. I joined Deloitte and was trained by one of the biggest accounting firms in the world, because of my education.

“Good education brought me here and I am happy to stand before you here as the President of Nigeria. I started small,” he said.
