EPL: 2 signings Arsenal could complete before the start of next season

The Gunners are still working on completing the signing of two or more arrivals at the Emirates stadium this summer after announcing the arrival of Kai Havertz from Chelsea last week.

Kai Havertz joined Arsenal on £65m deal from Chelsea and has been unveiled as Arsenal’s first summer addition of the 2023 transfer window. The German has also inherited his preferred No.29 shirt number at North London, that he previously wore at Chelsea and Bayer Leverkusen.

Arsenal are also looking to offload the likes of Emile Smith-Rowe, Kieran Tierney and Rob Holding this summer but are yet to receive any official bid from any interested clubs.

Brazilian winger, Marquinhos, could be loaned out this summer as to gain more playing minutes elsewhere, while Martin Lokanga and Folarin Balogun are expected to end their respective loan spells at Crystal Palace and Reims. The duo is expected to report back when the entire Arsenal squad begin their preseason training.

1. Jurrien Timber

Reports has it that, the Gunners are closing in on signing Dutch centre-back, Jurrien Timber, from Ajax this summer. Personal terms has been agreed between Arsenal and the 23-year-old defender.

Jurrien Timber could be unveiled as a new Arsenal player before the start of next season.

2. Declan Rice

Manchester United, Man City, Chelsea and Bayern Munich were unwilling to meet West Ham’s £100m asking fee but the Gunners eventually won the bidding war.
