Election:APC Didn't Come 1st; I Don't Know The Position Of The PDP, But LP Didn't Come 3rd—Osuntokun

During an interview with Channels Television, Dr. Akin Osuntokun, the Director General of the Labour League, stated that the APC didn’t come first and that he does not know the position of the PDP. He also stated that the Labour Party did not also come third, pointing out that at the end of the tribunal, they’ll know the true results of the election.

He also stated that the result given by the international bodies contradicted the result given by INEC. He added that INEC cannot be guilty of what the people are saying or what the foreign bodies have said concerning the general election.

According to him, “That’s according to the fraudulent result that was announced by INEC. You’re quoting a result that we don’t agree with. APC didn’t come first; PDP—I don’t know their position or what position they took—and LP didn’t come third. It’s in court, and then they’ll give those figures, but you see, the thing is also this: INEC cannot be guilty of what everybody, including Nigerians and non-Nigerians, is saying about his lack of credibility, and you expect that agency to come up with credible results. It’s a contradiction in terms, and there’s no way a thief, you know, an established thief, will not logically be expected when there are situations of doubt; it doesn’t give that benefit of the doubt to the thief. There’s no way everybody or all of what we’re saying about INEC is true; if it’s true, then it has implications for the credibility of the result that they announced.
