Gabon: I Don’t Know How To Call Father And Son Ruling A Country For 56 Years As Democratic Rule-Shehu Sani

Shehu Sani, a former senator for Kaduna Central has taken to his his official X account, formerly known as Twitter to say he does not know how to call a father and son ruling a country for 56 years as a democratic rule.

Following the recent coup in Gabon, where some top Gabonese military officers took over the government in Gabon after President Ali Bongo was re-elected to a third term in office, the outspoken activist, Shehu Sani took to his microblogging, Twitter page to air out his view about one family ruling the country for 56 years. 

 

According to the former lawmaker, he made it known in his statement by saying he knows what is called Military rule, and he also knows what is called Democratic rule. 

However, Shehu Sani concluded his statement by revealing that he didn’t understand how to call a father and son ruling a country for 56 years as a democratic rule.

In his tweet, Shehu Sani wrote below:

“Gabon:I know what is called Military rule. I know what is called the Democratic rule. I don’t know how to call a father and son ruling a country for 56 years as a democratic rule.”
