If Tinubu Was Just An Ordinary ECOWAS Member, Nigeria Won't Be This Involved In Niger Issues – Daniel Bwala

According to Daniel Bwala, a former spokesperson for the disbanded Atiku/Okowa 2023 Presidential Campaign Council, Nigeria would not be as involved in the effort by ECOWAS to restore constitutional order in Niger if President Bola Tinubu was just a regular council member.

Daniel Bwala, who was a guest on AIT this morning, said that

“Ghana, Togo, Cameroon, and Gambia, the majority of the other francophone nations, are expressing hesitation, and I can assure you that Nigeria wouldn’t be as engaged in the Niger problems if Tinubu were an ordinary member of ECOWAS. As you can see, ECOWAS is now at an all-time low and is weak and fractured. Because of Western exploitation, the people of Niger think that what has transpired is beneficial for them. They think that puppets that the West placed serve Western interests rather than those of their individual nations.
