Man Utd’s Sluggish Move In The Transfer Window Could Greatly Affect Their Performance Next Season.

The only player Manchester United have seriously pursued in the transfer window this summer is Mason Mount. The Red Devils are very close to completing their first signing of the transfer window who will be Mason Mount coming from Chelsea Football Club. According to Fabrizio Romano, Mason Mount will be having his medicals at Manchester United today and will then sign an expected five-year-long contract deal as a new player of the club. This transfer is expected to cost Manchester United 55 million pounds plus an extra 5 million pounds in add-ons to get Mason Mount’s services from Chelsea.

Well, So far so good, Manchester United haven’t targeted their main problem in the transfer window this summer. Last season, the Red Devils had a real issue with their centre-forward position which wasn’t well handled by Marcus Rashford and Wout Weghorst. The Red Devils were expected to go all out in the transfer window to get a reliable striker who could guarantee them a good number of goals next season.

Well, with the way I see things, I can say Manchester United are being a bit sluggish with their moves in the transfer window this summer and this could greatly affect their performance next season. At the moment, Every top team in Europe are going for the good players in the market. If Manchester United don’t step up their move in the transfer window, they might end up not signing the best players in the market that could help improve their performance and make them compete better in all competitions next season.
