Dr. Peter Afunanya, the DSS Public Relations Officer, shared this revelation through an official statement.
According to intelligence reports, the DSS stated that these politicians are actively recruiting various groups, including unsuspecting student leaders, ethnic associations, youth organizations, and dissatisfied factions, to participate in these planned protests.
The DSS sia it has taken proactive measures to identify the ringleaders behind this plot and is maintaining continuous surveillance to discourage any attempts that could potentially plunge the nation into chaos.

In light of these developments, the DSS is advising university Vice-Chancellors and heads of tertiary institutions to dissuade their students from getting involved in activities that might disrupt public peace.
Additionally, parents and guardians are urged by the DSS to counsel their children and wards, advising them to refrain from engaging in behaviors that contravene principles of law and order.
