BAT Must Immediately Reverse Ban On Vanguard, Galaxy TV And 23 Media House Or Face Legal Action – SERAP

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has been instructed by the Socio Economic Rights and Accountability Projects( SERAP) to lift the ban on some Nigerian media outlets or to get ready for legal action. The Socio Economic Rights and Accountability Projects, SERAP, posted this on its Twitter page on Sunday.

According to the group, the president forbade the Vanguard newspaper, Galaxy TV, and 23 other Nigerian media outlets from reporting on the presidential villa. However, according to SERAP, president Bola Ahmed Tinubu should lift the media houses ban if he isn’t prepared to take legal action.

Social media users have left a lot of comments after SERAP tweeted the tweet.

To avoid legal action, the Tinubu administration “mist immediately reverse the ban on the Vanguard, Galaxy TV, and 23 other media houses.”
