Dele Farotimi Replies Man Who Said Peter Obi Won In The South East Because He Is From The Region

Dele Farotimi, a lawyer and spokesperson for the OBIDATTI Presidential campaign council, responded to a Twitter user’s assertion that Peter Gregory Obi won in the South East solely due to his regional affiliation. Peter Obi’s significant victory in the South East during the February 25th presidential election is well-known.

However, the Twitter user as seen in the screenshot below, claimed that Peter Obi’s win was primarily due to his regional origin. Disagreeing with this claim, Dele Farotimi provided counterarguments. He pointed out that parties like AG, UPN, and AD secured substantial victories in the West due to Awolowo’s influence, and similarly, the people of the South East supported Peter Obi because of their informed understanding of him.

In my opinion, I believe that it’s a good thing the way Farotimi replied the person because he might probably be talking out of point. But then, Farotimi in accordance with Labour Party and others should learn to tell Obidients to stop insulting and cursing people because of their opinions.
