It Is Suspicious That Tinubu Travelled Without Being Worried That They May Say He Lost – James Ezike

A lawyer, James C. Ezike, has expressed disappointment in the judgement of the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal that the Constitution made provisions for the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), to be treated as a State; as he maintained that it is highly suspicious that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu travelled to India on the eve of the judgement day without worrying that he might be ousted from Office.

James Ezike had said, “It is highly really suspicious that Bola Tinubu travelled to India on the eve of the judgement without being worried that behind his back, they might say he lost the election.”

Ezike, who spoke during an interview on The Morning Show, an Arise Television programme, insinuated that the judgement of the Tribunal that the FCT could be treated as a State is questionable; as he maintained that if the FCT was a State, it would have had its House of Assembly, and three Senators would have been representing it in the National Assembly. According to him, the basis of law is not logic but experience, hence, the judgement was the weakest point of the Tribunal.

Ezike described the judgement as a computer judgement where judges only copied and read out the judgement.
