Danjuma Mohammed Reveals the reason for current increase in the price of rice
A member of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Danjuma Mohammed has said that the Global Economic Crisis was caused by the impact of COVID-19, and that several countries in the world are having economic issues due to the COVID-19 pandemic that affected the world. Speaking further, Mr Danjuma Mohammed said that the current increase in the price of rice is not because there is a ban on importation so as to promote local production, but because of the global economic situation, and that if Nigeria was still importing rice from Thailand, we would have not been able to buy a bag of rice for N40,000, but for N150,000.
