Daniel Bwala reacts after Bode George pleaded with PDP to setup committee to dialogue with Wike & co.

During an appearance on Channels Television, Chief Olabode George, a prominent member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), suggested that the party should establish a committee for dialogue with former Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike and other dissatisfied members. This dialogue, he argued, is essential for the progress of the party. Chief Bode George also urged Nyesom Wike to remain with the PDP, stating that the party is his political home.

In response to Chief Bode George’s remarks, Mr. Daniel Bwala, another influential figure within the party, expressed his reservations. He cautioned against individuals who, in his view, are merely buying time for Wike to pursue actions that could be detrimental to the PDP. Bwala contended that anyone who genuinely cares about the PDP would not support Wike’s current actions, which he sees as damaging to the party’s reputation.

Chief Bode George called for dialogue within the PDP to address grievances, while Mr. Daniel Bwala expressed concerns about Wike’s impact on the party and urged caution in dealing with those who claim to seek peace but may have ulterior motives.

The post reads, “Beware of those who go to the mainstream media pretending to want to sue for peace in PDP, calling for the party to manage Wike, but in actual fact buying time for Wike to continue his destructive agenda against the party; enabling APC government to create a one party state. Anyone who loves PDP cannot support what Wike is doing to the image of the party.”
