I expect Supreme Court to order a redo of the election; We're saying election was rigged-James Ezike

James C. Ezike, a lawyer, has claimed that the election which resulted in President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s victory was fraudulent. He believes that the Supreme Court should intervene and order a re-conduction of the election due to its flawed foundation.

James Ezike had said, “We are saying that the election was rigged. What i expect in this judgement of the Supreme Court that is coming, is to do what other countries like Kenya have done in their Supreme Court judgements: redo the election because the foundation is wrong.”

During an interview on The Morning Show, a television program on Arise Television, Ezike strongly argued that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) was being deceitful by initially claiming that the results of the Presidential election on February 25, 2023 would be transmitted electronically, but later deciding to collate the results manually on the day of the election. He believed that political parties had expected electronic transmission of results, and therefore, INEC’s change of plan was fraudulent.

Ezike maintained that despite not representing any party as a counsel, it is necessary for the Supreme Court to mandate a rerun of the election.
