Reactions As Okonkwo Said 25% In FCT Was Judged With Constitution But Transmission Of Results Wasn't

According to Kenneth Okonkwo, a leader of the Labour Party and the spokesperson for the OBIDATTI Presidential campaign committee, Kenneth asserted that the Presidential Election Petition Court, PEPC, referenced the Constitution in its decision about the requirement of scoring 25%. However, the issue of electronic transfer of results from the voting units was not addressed in FCT in the same way.

This was contained in a post that he shared on his official Twitter page on Thursday

He made this statement in response to the court judgment on Wednesday in the presidential election petition case. In the text he uploaded on his Facebook, he claimed that while the court had used the constitution’s preamble to explain receiving a score of 25% in the FCT, it was unable to do so to justify the electronic transmission of results.
