A labor party chieftain and one of the aides of the labour party presidential aspirant, Oseloka H Obaze has spoken about the Millitary takeover in Niger Republic.
Recall that the Millitary group in the country took over power from the democratic elected president, Muhammed Bazoum a few days ago
The incident has led to several reactions from around the world
However, the Economic Community Of West Africa State, ECOWAS, in which the country is also a member, sat and took some decisions
The decisions include placing sanctions on the nation while also sending a warning of millitary intervention if the ousted president, Muhammed Bazoum is not reinstalled
Many have been commenting as regard the issue of the millitary intervention.
Oseloka H Obaze took to his official Twitter page on Thursday to state that those who were on active duty when Nigeria went on rescue mission in Liberia didn’t contemplate the human cost
He said lesson learnt from Liberia remains instructive
