UCL: See How Chelsea Transfer Target Nkunku Celebrated His Goal Against Shakhtar Donetsk
Chelsea are said to be doing all they can to secure the signing of highly-rated French forward, Christopher Nkunku who will be of interest to some of Europe’s top clubs when his release clause of £52.4 million will become active from next summer.
According to trusted transfer news journalist Fabrizio Romano, Nkunku had secret medical tests with Chelsea who are yet to reach an agreement with RB Leipzig over a fee for the 24-year old star.
Despite the uncertainty over his future, Nkunku is still performing at a top level this season, and tonight against Shakhtar Donetsk, he opened the scoring for Leipzig and then went on to celebrate in a strange manner.
In the course of his celebration with teammates, Nkunku brought out a balloon and puffed air into it which was obviously an uncanny way of celebrating his fourth goal in his last four games across all competitions.
Seeing how prolific he’s been this season, Chelsea is expected to speed up negotiations with Leipzig in order to wrap up Nkunku’s signing and avoid bidding war by next summer when his release clause will drop to just over £50m.
