Half Of What You're Hearing Everywhere Are Rumors, I'm Committed To A New Nigeria- Obi To Supporters

A few hours ago, Labour Party flag bearer, Peter Gregory Obi came out to urge his supporters to disregard all rumors being peddled about his presidential ambition.

Speaking during a Labour Party mega rally in Benin, the Edo capital on Monday August 21 ahead of the upcoming Local Government Chairmanship Elections in the state, Obi told party supporters not to believe all the reports that they have been seeing or hearing, adding that there are rumors making the rounds about him jettisoning his desire to lead the country to prosperity.

The former Anambra governor then went on to reiterate his commitment to ensuring a better Nigeria by moving the nation from consumption to production.

He said; “Labour Party will continue to grow stronger, and better. Half of the things you are hearing everywhere are rumors. Don’t listen to them. We are committed to building a better and new Nigeria, where we will move the country from consumption to production.”
