Clark Says That Fashola Didn’t Visit The Niger Delta Region, Despite Being A Minister For 8 Years

According to Pa Edwin Clark, a Niger Delta leader and elder statesman, Babatunde Fashola, the former Minister of Works, did not visit the Niger Delta region during his 8 years in office.

Clark expressed his concern during an interview with Arise Tv news, stating that the Niger Delta is being neglected in terms of development.

He highlighted the incomplete bridges and major roads as evidence of the government’s lack of attention to the region.

Clark emphasized the suffering of the people in the area, particularly the lack of educational institutions apart from the Maritime University, which was initiated by the locals before the government’s involvement.

He also mentioned the poor state of the east-west road, which is considered to be economically significant.

Clark criticized Fashola for not taking any action to address the road infrastructure issues in the Niger Delta, making it challenging to travel between Asaba and Ughelli.
