'No Need For Atiku & Obi To Appeal Judgment Because Tribunal Affirmed The Will Of Nigerians' -Wike

According to Channels Online paper, Former Governor of Rivers State and current Minister of Works, Nyesom Wike, responded to the verdict of the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal in Abuja, which dismissed the petitions against President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

According to the Independent National Electoral Commission, Tinubu defeated other contenders, including Peter Obi of the Labour Party, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party, and Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso of the New Nigeria Peoples Party, to become President.

The presidential candidates of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, and the Peoples Democratic Party, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, challenged Tinubu’s victory in the Presidential Election Tribunal in Abuja, but their petitions were struck out.

In an exclusive interview reported by Channels Television, Nyesom Wike stated that there was no need for the petitioners, including Atiku, the PDP, the Labour Party, and its presidential candidate, Peter Obi, to appeal the judgment because the Tribunal “affirmed” the will of Nigerians.
