Bashir Ahmad, the Special Assistant to former President Muhammadu Buhari on Media, has expressed his thoughts on social media regarding a photo that captured the moment Labour Party’s 2023 presidential candidate, Peter Obi, interacted with Senate President Godswill Akpabio at an event.
As reported, Peter Obi, a former governor of Anambra State and a prominent figure within the Labour Party, had traveled to Kano to attend the wedding of the son of Deputy Senate President Barau Jibrin.
The images, which were shared on the microblogging platform X, depict Peter Obi socializing with Senator Godswill Akpabio, Senator Barau Jibrin, and other colleagues at the ceremony.
In response to these photos, Bashir Ahmad utilized his official X account to convey that Peter Obi has now engaged in genuine political interactions, stating that he is pleased for him.
Bashir Ahmad’s statement reads: “Peter Obi attended the wedding of the Deputy Senate President’s son in Kano today. Peter has officially entered the realm of real politics, and I am content for him.”
