Atiku Abubakar Pictured Together With Vice President, Kashim Shettima At An Event In Abuja (Photos)

The former Vice President of Nigeria and 2023 presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar has been pictured together with the incumbent Vice President and former Governor of Borno State, Kashim Ibrahim Shettima.

The the political gladiators were pictured together at a wedding ceremony in Abuja on Saturday.

According to Daily Trust paper, at the wedding between Mohammed (Ameer) Bunu and Ikramullah Jamal Arabi. both men set aside political differences and exchanged pleasantries.

Some of the notable Nigerians who attended the wedding ceremony include Maj General Babagana Monguno (rtd), former National Security Adviser, Prof Ali Isa Pantami, immediate Past Minister of Communication and Digital Economy; and other prominent personalities.

Recall that Kashim Ibrahim Shettima’s principal, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress defeated Alhaji Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party and other strong contenders including Peter Obi of the Labour Party and Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso of the New Nigeria Peoples Party, NNPP to clinch the apex political seat in the country.

The presidential candidates of the Labour Party, Peter Obi and that of the Peoples Democratic Party, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar are currently challenging the victory of Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the Presidential Election Tribunal in Abuja. The presidential election Tribunal commenced sitting few weeks ago to hear the cases by the parties.

The recent photos of Kashim Ibrahim Shettima and Atiku Abubakar which were shared by Daily Trust paper on its verified Twitter page have generated lot of reactions from many Nigerians on the social media platform.
