Member of Oyo State Executive Committee and member of APC, Akin Akinwale has stirred reactions on social media after taking to his official social media page, X account, formerly known as Twitter to post to reveal that Oyo State has decided to participate in the upcoming Local Government election across all the 351 wards

He wrote: ” Oyo APC has decided to participate in the upcoming LG election. The party’s leadership held discussions with OYSIEC, expressing optimism about a fair process. Surprisingly, after opening up the opportunity, a significant number of party members expressed interest in running for office, resulting in councilor aspirants from almost all 351 Wards.
