APC Administration: I'll not involve myself until PDP gives directives to accept Tinubu's Govt– Kola Ologbondiyan

Kola Ologbondiyan, a PDP chieftain, stated during an interview on Channels Television that he will refrain from getting involved in the administration of President Bola Tinubu until the Supreme Court issues its judgment on the presidential election. He explained that the PDP has not yet provided a directive to its members, and any decision on whether to accept the government or not would likely come after the court’s judgment.

Ologbondiyan said that he has been quiet on the matter because he is awaiting the outcome of the tribunal and Supreme Court decisions on the elections held in February. He also mentioned that he does not have information on the direction of the decisions of the party regarding this matter. His stance reflects a cautious approach within the PDP and his personal willingness to wait for the legal process to conclude before making decisions about engaging with the new administration.

According to him; “I’ve been very quiet because it’s just that we await the judgement of the tribunal, we await the decision of the supreme court on the elections that were held in February and I have to wait until that decision is taken. My party, the PDP which I subscribe to have not given the directive on whether to accept the government or not, pending the determination of the issues in court. And until that is done, I don’t want to get involved in the government and administration of Bola Tinubu. I don’t know about the direction of the decisions of the party.”
