Vehicles Recovery:"Stop Chasing Ortom, Focus On Your Campaign Promises" -Ortom's Aide Tells Gov Alia

The aide to former governor Samuel Ortom, Terver Akase, has reacted after the Benue state’s Assets Recovery Committee stormed the automobile workshop allegedly belonging to former governor Samuel Ortom to tow away some vehicles.

Terver Akase said, “the current governor, Reverend Father Alia, should focus on his campaign promises and stop chasing former governor Samuel Ortom. He should deliver the dividends of democracy to Benue people and stop this witch-hunting he is doing.”

Speaking further, Terver Akase said, “as it stands, the current administration has not hidden its resolve to torment the immediate past governor of benue. What you are seeing today is just the manifestation of his decision. All former governors left with their official vehicles so why should Samuel Ortom’s case be an exemption?”

Lastly, Ortom’s aide said, “before Samuel Ortom’s tenure relapsed, the state executive council had an agreement that he should leave with his official vehicles. This is why I am saying that former governor Samuel Ortom has not done anything special because leaving with vehicles has been the tradition in our state.”
