Shehu Sani reacts as French Ambassador ignores vacation order issued by Niger military Junta

The Kaduna born human rights activist, socio-political critic, public commentator and former lawmaker who represented Kaduna Central Senatorial District at the upper chamber of the National Assembly, Senator Shehu Sani has reacted to the decision of the French Ambassador in Niger Republic not to leave the country despite the vacation order issued by the Niger military government.

Senator Sani took to his official Twitter handle to react to this development.

According to Senator Sani, the military junta told the French Ambassador to leave the country and he is refusing to go.

“The Niger Military Junta told the French Ambassador to leave the country and he is refusing to go.” Said, Senator Sani.

Sani said further that, an African Ambassador can not behave in France, the way French Ambassador in Niger Republic behaved.

“Can an African Ambassador behave like that in France if he is asked to leave the country without him being escorted to the Airport?” Sani said.
