We've Lost 2 Out Of 14 Days Allowed By Law For Our Lawyers To File An Appeal At The S'Court -Momodu

Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Chieftain, Dele Momodu, has noted that two days have already elapsed out of the 14-day period allotted for their lawyers to file an appeal at the Supreme Court. This statement was shared on Dele Momodu’s official Ovation page.

The Court of Appeal recently delivered its judgment in the presidential election petition case that began on Monday, May 8. Alhaji Waziri Atiku Abubakar’s petition, as the presidential candidate of the PDP, was dismissed by the court. In response, he announced his intention to file an appeal at the Supreme Court.

Dele Momodu expressed concern that the Presidential Election Petition Court had delayed issuing the judgment delivered on Wednesday. As a result, he pointed out that two days have already passed out of the 14-day legal window for filing an appeal.
