- Soludo approved training for just six persons
- If training is not effected, the local government system will collapse.

Commissioner for local government and Chieftaincy Affairs Anambra State, Mr. Tony Collins Nwabunwanne says all the civil service staffs within the local government level have not gone for training in decades.
The commissioner made these statement while speaking with House of Assembly correspondents after the reverse budget defense in Awka.
“It’s apporlling and very bad. Just two weeks ago, Governor Chukwuma Soludo approved training for just six persons which are treasurer’s, some head of local government
which will be held in Lagos, for them to have an expirence so as to know what to do at the right time.
“Many people are still operating at the analog stage. We have gone digital and if training is not effected into the system now, the local government system will collapse.
“When we went for local government tour, we discovered that many of them don’t have jonior staff. We only saw senior staff from level ten, twelve upwards and they are the once cleaning there offices.
“When the budget is passed, we intend to look at all these areas and tackle it and employee more staff.
Chairman Local Government Service Commission, Sir Peter Uzodinma Egenti on his part said lack of training is affecting the system.
“Every worker in any institution needs training and re-trained. It is very important. When it is not like that, you will see the effects.
