All my Friends in the World Should Make Noise, I do not know what is Going on- President Ali Bongo.

President of Gabon, Ali Bongo Ondimba has broken silence following his house arrest by the military junta in the African country. He called on his colleagues around the world to intervene in the military coup, because he has no idea of what is currently happening in his country.

Recall that Gabonese military officers had in the early hours of today, scrapped the election results that announced Gabon President, Ali Bongo Ondimba as the winner and also placed him under house arrest.

According to the officers, the family members and doctors are currently with president Ali Bongo Ondimba while his son has been arrested for treason.

And so following such ongoing coup in Gabon, President Ali Bongo Ondimba in a video which was uploaded online by Nigerian journalist, Dele Momodu could be seen pleading with his friends in the world that they should “make noise” so that both him and his family will be released.

In his own words, president Ali Bongo Ondimba mentioned;

“I am Ali Bongo Ondimba, president of Gabon and I’m to send a message to all the friends we have around the world to tell them to make noise, for the people here have arrested me. My son is somewhere, my wife is in another place and I’m at the residence. Right now I’m at the residence and nothing is happening, I don’t know what’s going on. So I’m calling you to make noise really. I’m telling you, thank you.”
