All Eye On The Judiciary: How Can You Just Carry Billboards And Blackmail The Judiciary? – Frank Kokori

Chief Frank Kokori, a senior member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the former general secretary of the National Union of Petroleum and Natural Gas Workers (NUPENG) has shared his opinions following reports that the Federal Government of Nigeria ordered the removal of “All Eye On The Judiciary” billboards across the country.

As Nigerians wait for the decision of the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal in Abuja, “All Eye On The Judiciary”, AEOTJ, has been set up in several locations.

Chief Frank Kokori reportedly said in an exclusive interview with The Sun paper: “How can people just put billboards all over the places warning the judiciary to be careful; all eyes on the judiciary?” Since we began holding elections in this country in 1959, has it ever occurred? How are you able to merely use billboards to extort the legal system?

Is it appropriate to threaten judges simply because they have declined to respond to you, he continued. Why would you use the judicial system as leverage? Chief Kokori further emphasised that the Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS), which was used for the general elections, performed flawlessly.
