Akeredolu Performs First Official Duty After Returning From Germany As He Signs LCDAs Bill into Law

Rotimi Akeredolu, Governor of Ondo State officially resumed duty from his home in Ibadan on Friday after returning from his three-month medical vacation in Germany. Rotimi Akeredolu returned to Nigeria from Germany on Thursday where he was treated for his undisclosed ailment for three months.

According to Punch, Governor, Rotimi by Akeredolu, has performed his first official duty after resuming office by signing into law the bill creating 33 Local Council Development Areas in the state. The bill was presented to Governor Akeredolu by the Speaker of the House of Assembly, Mr Olamide Oladiji.

According to the Chief Press Secretary of the state, Mr Richard Olatunde.

“The establishment of these LCDAs marks a substantial step towards fulfilling Governor Akeredolu’s campaign promises and addressing the aspirations of the people for enhanced grassroots development.

“Governor Akeredolu remains dedicated to delivering impactful projects and innovative initiatives”
