The Justice For Mohbad Group has called upon the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to conclude the inquiry into the reported mistreatment of Mohbad during his lifetime and the circumstances surrounding his death. This is to ensure justice for him and facilitate a proper burial.

SaharaReporters earlier reported that hundreds of people had signed a petition demanding urgent action on cyberbullying against the wife and son of the late singer, Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad.

Justice For Mohbad Movement Group which launched the petition stated that the petition was to draw the South African Police Service’s immediate attention to a grave and distressing matter concerning the cyberbullying and threats directed at Mohbad’s wife, Wunmi and their eight-month-old son, Liam, by individuals identified as Adeshina Kabiru (alias Hayat) and Cele SA.

“This malicious online behavior has not only caused significant emotional distress to his mother and his family but also poses a serious threat to his safety and well-being,” the petition on change.org read.

The petitioners said that Liam and her mother had been subjected to relentless cyberbullying, including verbal abuse, insults, curses, and direct threats to life, by the aforementioned individuals.

“The nature and frequency of these online attacks have escalated to an alarming level, creating a hostile environment for Liam and his family,” it said.

However, the group on Wednesday celebrated Mohbad’s posthumous birthday by visiting the underprivileged people in the society, warning those who have turned seeking justice for #Mohbad to bullying should put a stop to the wickedness or face the law.

The group visited the underprivileged and orphans at Oko Baba and Modupe Cole, bearing gifts and food.

It asserted that the death of Mohbad even though very painful should be the end of bullying in society.

The statement signed by the representative of the group, Koleosho Ibrahim Damilare, aka King White, said, “While we are celebrating #Mohbad birthday, we need to let the world know what some people have turned the #JusticeForMohbad campaign into bullying.

“They have successfully set families against each other. We would put Imole on their evil and get them to stop. Join the call in putting them in their place.

“We implored the government to please complete the investigation of Mohbad’s bully while alive and cause of his death so he can get justice and also be buried probably. The family would not receive proper closure as long as the case is still on.”

“The death of Ilerioluwa Aloba Promise even though very painful should be the end of bullying in our society, but that would not happen if the government doesn’t ensure there is justice in the case,” the statement added.
