Actress, Funke Akindele Breaks Silence As ‘A Tribe Called Judah’ Hits N1billion Sales

Nigeria’s reigning box office queen, Funke Akindele, has broken her silence after achieving a historic milestone as the first filmmaker to earn a billion naira at the box office in record time.

Solidifying her position as a powerhouse in the Nigerian film industry, she now dominates the top spots on the Wikipedia Nollywood grossing table with her films “Battle On Buka Street” and “Omo Ghetto The Saga.”

Funke’s ‘A Tribe Called Judah’ has garnered one billion, sixty million, seven hundred and eleven thousand, four hundred and ninety-one naira (N1,060,711,491), at the box office.

The actress, known for her exceptional talent took to her Instagram page to express her gratitude and amazement at the overwhelming support from both Nigerian and Ghanaian audiences.
