According to Oyeyemi, the suspect was taken into custody when a younger sister of the deceased wife brought the case to the attention of the authorities at the Mowe Divisional Police Headquarters.
The complainant stated that she had learned from her older sister’ s daughter that the woman, who resided with her husband at 7, Madam Felicia Street, Orimerunmu in Mowe, ” has been beaten to death by her husband. ”
According to the report, the DPO of the Mowe division, Special Agent Folake Afeniforo, was reported to have swiftly dispatched detectives to the spot, where the suspect was subsequently taken into custody.
