Three Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University students, found dead in their lodge
On Wednesday,7 September three students of Chukwuma Odumegwu Ojukwu University where found dead in their lodge.
According to reports, the deceased students identified as Obidiaso Chidera, a 200-level political science student, Mercy, a pharmacy student, and Emmanuella, a Business Administration student, were found dead in Goodluck hostel in Anambra State.>>>>>CONTINUE READING HERE>>>>>
According to a witnesses, there were discovered by friends who had not heard from them for some time and came to the lodge to check on them.
After several knocks on the door and no response, they decided to force the door open, only to discover their bodies.
Two were found on the bed, while the third was found in the kitchen.
The school authority has since then released a statement expressing shock that some students are still in their hostels even though school has not been in session since August.
The school also assured that security operatives are investigating the case and all outcomes will be made known to the public.
Confirming the incident to LIB, the spokesperson of the state police command, DSP Ikenga Tochukwu, said;
”Investigation has since commenced and the bodies have been recovered. We also recovered substances suspected to be drugs and our forensic operatives have taken over the crime scene as the Commissioner ordered immediate transfer of the case to SCID for a comprehensive investigation.”
